Proposed
universal litigation and appeals settlement
The
New York State Department of Health (DOH) has
proposed funding additional reimbursement
under the new Medicaid pricing system with
money freed by a settlement of substantially
all outstanding litigation and appeals
relating to operating costs. In order to
assist facilities in evaluating this potential
settlement, DOH has released their lists of
litigation and appeals that they show
currently outstanding.
